Miss Esmeralda is just the cutest apartment. It is fab to have my own space and in a very exciting neighbourhood. Life is leisurely in the Marais - the streets are quiet until 10ish and then its buzzing - with renaults, peugeots, cyclists, motorcyclists, pedestrians (mostly avec chien). It is taking a while to remember which way to look when crossing the road!

Dear Aunty Sally,
I notice that you have not met anyone yet, because you are taking the photographs yourself with your digital camera. I hope you are having a good time though. You look very happy in the photos. I'd like to go to Paris, but Mum says we are going to Apollo Bay this year. Maybe next!
