Yesterday I had un catastrophe...one of the arms of my glasses came off and I lost the screw that holds it in place. So this morning, after cafe et croissant at Le Preau, we headed to Milan Lunetier in the 11th for an emergency repair. I bought the glasses at this shop and was thrilled to find that the opticien remembered us and, apart from repairing my glasses, suggested he might just have a design or two that would be parfait pour moi! Well, every girl needs more than one pair, je pense!
Glasses intact, we headed further into the 11th en route to two record shops, a stop for lunch a la terrasse of a brasserie, a leisurely wander back to Monoprix for some necessities, boulangerie Miss Manon for a baguette and then chez nous. It's a hot 29 degrees today, with 31 expected tomorrow, so it's rather nice to be home now, windows wide open, watching the sun go down over the terracotta chimneys of the surrounding roof tops. So Parisien!

Hi Sally & Brent, Bien sur, every girl needs more than one pair of glasses. Brent is seriously considering the record collection, did we hear him say "I want that one". Love the 'photos. L&G
