Faire un peu de shopping

We were off to a late start this morning, and Mondays mean that many of the galleries are closed in Paris...so it seemed like a good day to do a little shopping.

I was chatting to a young woman in one of the shops, and asked her why her English was so good.  Did she learn English at school?  "No", she said, "I watch television...Game of Thrones(!)...oh, and my boyfriend lives in New York, so I have the opportunity to practice my English."  Now, I've never watched Game of Thrones, but, I can't imagine how you might use a phrase like, "Please don't eat the help," (Tyrion Lannister - Episode 602)!  On the other hand, a phrase like, "I wonder if you're the worst person I've ever met," (Lady Olenna Tyrell - Episode 607), may come in handy!

Anyway, no photos of shopping, but some rooftop views from the apartment windows.  There's an interesting rotunda-like structure on a rooftop close by...wish I knew what was inside!
