More musée and the Metal Asparagus

On Lil's recommendation I visited the Musee National du Moyen age. Got lost in the beauty and detail of the tapestries "The Lady and the Unicorn". Some things are just so special...thanks Mum.

And just for Mum and Dad, the hotel where they stayed in Paris and the cafe corner near the military college ...

Just around the corner, the icon that is Paris. It was a beautiful day and, being the weekend, crowds of local Parisiens; their dogs, their children and the tourists were out. The queues to
ascend the tower were massive, perfect reason for moi not to do so!

There were groups of kids breakdancing on the smooth marble terrace of the Palais de Chaillot. I will come back here because the view is fabulous.

Stumbled into Saturday on the Avenue des Champs Elysees...lots of white jeans and D&G accessories, that somehow don't seem so out of place here...mais pour moi, it's back to the Marais, du vin and Serge.

Thank you all for your wonderful posts ... they make me smile.

The weather looks perfect and the photos are beautiful. It all seems quite breath-taking.

Hey Sally

Looks like you're really enjoying yourself! Hopefully this will put another spring in your step. Remember that competition you entered for Dilip with Tyndall (find the missing word)? Well, Dilip was one of the 20 winners! You said yourself that was bound to happen.

Hope the weather stays great for you, its terrible here.

Dear Aunty Sally,
Musee National du Moyen age is absolutely haunted because it looks precisely like Torchwood in Dr. Who! So if you're staying there, put an earphone to your ear because you never know when you're going to hear a werewolf howl....but don't get your bags packed yet. We're fine without ya,
love Ruby

What fantastic memories the corner cafe brings to mind. Just love the building where the tapestries are housed, I had forgotten how truly gorgeous it is. Such wonderful experiences, never to be forgotten. Hope you are filling your journal with everyday happenings, they will be so good to read after you return, and before your next visit! Lils
