Slept in this morning after a late at the Guns N Roses concert. It was a rockin' show - two and a half hours! - and we wandered home amidst the concert crowd after 1 am. The venue - Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy - was great: collecting the tickets ran smoothly and we had comfy seats close to the stage (even though the audience stood all night - sighs of resignation as this old rocker stayed on her feet!).
Too late for breakfast today, so dejeuner instead at Le Preau. (Our vegetarian friends should stop reading now...) I had rable de lapin avec prune tagliatelle and Brent the hamburger avec pomme frites. Tres bon, and should keep us going for the rest of the day.
As we had missed most of the morning decided to have a day at home getting the washing done and sprucing up the apartment. We have settled in with ease to the compact life of apartment living and once again I am reminded of how little space we really need to be comfortable. Less space, less housework = more time to enjoy life. Now, that's la vie as it should be!

Hi Sally & Brent, Oh! that comfy seat must have looked inviting, yet you managed to resist it. A sleep in an then lunch at Le Preau, now that's a good holiday pace. L&G
