We saw Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy; Killer Joe; Texas Killing Fields and Damsels in Distress - all of which received enthusiastic audience applause. Our favourites were Tinker, Tailor - beautifully shot - and Killer Joe, a dark (make that very dark) comedic thriller...neither won awards but you don't have to necessarily agree with the jury!
