Caught the 41 vaporetto out to the islands of Murano and Burano. Murano is the home of the famous Venetian glassware and Burano is the home of handmade Venetian lace. We loved Burano with it's brightly coloured houses, curtained doorways shaded from the heat and the small treed parks dotted everywhere.
