Last night we were off to Le Parc de Bercy to see George Michael and the Symphonica Orchestra. Despite me not being familiar with George Michael's music, I really enjoyed the show. The orchestra was fantastic and George sang covers of songs by artists such as David Bowie and Rufus Wainwright - now, that's more up my alley, although I did join in the fun during the encore, which was a medley of Wham and George Michael songs from the 80s.
We had three British girls seated behind us who had come over just for the concert. I had to laugh when one related how she had just texted a friend in England to share her excitement at being in the sixth row at the George Michael concert and the friend replied, "Better you than me"! You could say that's how I'm feeling about seeing Britney Spears tomorrow night..."Ahhh," I say with that so French shrug of the shoulders, "C'est la vie"!

Hi Sally & Brent, Sounds like you had a really enjoyable evening, especially joining in the medley of songs from the 80s. Britney Spears might be quite a different experience. L&G
