We're staying in a different apartment this year - it's gorgeous. I'll post more pics in days to come. Just to give you a glimpse of where we are ... behind an ancient wooden door at 28 rue St Paul in the Marais, the apartment is on the third floor with three double windows overlooking a courtyard and the playground of an adjacent primary school. Each morning we wake to the bells of eglise St Paul at 8am and then the excited chatter of the children as they gather before school begins - j'adore ca!

Gorgeous Sally..... last time I was in the Marais, I saw Gerard Depardieu having his morning coffee!
I just want to be there too and draw all of those rooftops, windows and doors. I hope you took your cross stitch because it would be great to do a cross stitch each day and call the finished collection 'Threads of Paris'....but maybe you won't have time?
Hi Sally & Brent, Your apartment building looks just great. Love the views from the third floor, and church bells each morning - lovely. L&G
