The 5th and the 6th...mostly

Deviated from the norm today and started with cafe et croissant at Au Petit Fer a Cheval (Sally's special cafe in rue Vieille du Temple).  I was so happy to see the same waiter who welcomed me as a regular in 2007 when I would step out of my apartment, cross the rue and plan my day over coffee and croissant - much as we did today!
We then wandered through the 5th (think Pantheon and Sorbonne) arrondissement to visit some record stores; on to the 6th to reposes nos jambes in Jardin du Luxembourg; and then home via a special bijoux atelier where Sally might have found herself un tres belle bague!
The Jardin du Luxembourg was a treat.  The grassed areas were full of secondary school students having lunch and those very French, green, metal chairs were occupied by sun bathers of all shapes and shades of tan!

Hi Sally & Brent, What a great spot the Jardin du Luxembourg is to get a daily dose of vitamin D, the lounger in the chair is certainly soaking it up. Love the 'photos. L&G

Your photos are amazing, Paris is amazing! Doesn't it say something about service standards when someone can recall how you like your coffee a year later, shows where attention and focus lies. Some day .....
