Only a few days to go

It's always in the last days of our trip that we plan our final activities and take time to do a little shopping for gifts...

We feel so fortunate to be able to have such a wonderful holiday and we know that many are not so fortunate...Brent has made friends with an old man in the Bastille metro who sits on the steps with his rabbit.  The rabbit has a cozy, decorated cage but is often hopping free, over and around the man's legs.  For just a small gesture of money or food, or just a "bonjour" and a smile, the man invites you to pat the rabbit and you're always thanked with lots of laughs and a smiling "merci"...and we get to have a warm, furry cuddle with the rabbit!  It reminds us of les chats we are missing...

Each year we try to photograph a Border terrier for the Sinclairs.  I missed a good photo opportunity when a car pulled up at the pedestrian crossing...a very cool Mini, a very cool couple and a rather haughty looking Border sitting on the passenger's knees!  However, there is a new movie coming out...the poster is pictured below...not just a Border (at least I think it's a Border) but the star of the movie is Ruby...two Sinclairs in one!

There's only a few days to go...exhibitions commencing, weekend flea market to visit, a walk to La Tour Eiffel...

Hi Sally & Brent, A rabbit, now that's a bit different, they sound like a happy pair. Well spotted, the poster is really perfect, although a border in a cool mini, can picture that haughty expression. L&G
