Today was more shopping for the apartment...pricing canapés (couches)...just a sofa, or one that converts to a bed...in Paris, the living quarters are petite, so there is not "the spare room" to accommodate visitors.
Que faire si ma sœur, mon beau-frère, ma nièce et son chien were to visit...
Met with the architects this afternoon and chose the lighting for the apartment...then a coffee and a wine with Dominique, our project manager, and then home...via the peaceful jardin of the Hotel de Sully, just a few steps from the apartment.

Hi Sally & Brent, The garden and building in the 'photos are lovely. A pleasant stroll home at the end of your day. Love L&G
Hi Sally and Brent
Furniture shopping for canapes for your apartment? Small, decorative food items held in the fingers and eaten in one bite? I don't read French so something is obviously lost in translation.
Either you have purchased a small but very tasty piece of furniture that has a short shelf-life and is proving difficult to get comfortable on or you are calling the paramedics because someone has just choked on the couch you have served them?
I'm so confused I think I will go and lie down and watch 'Cold Comfort Farm'
Cheers, Paul
