A shower, change of clothes and 12 hours sleep and the 28 hours of travel Melbourne-Singapore-Paris-Venice is all but forgotten! There was no way we were going to make opening night at the film festival - lucky Mr. Clooney wasn't waiting for us on the red carpet! Today we picked up our festival passes from Lido and spent time wandering the island - tonight we see the films Carnage directed by Roman Polanski and W.E. directed by Madonna.
I'm blogging on the run so will quickly include a photo of the view from our apartment - j'adore ca! Behind my left shoulder in the photo is the palazzo we stayed in during our last visit, and draped over my right shoulder is our red Biennale visitor bag - film passes, program and art Biennale map inside.
