Last night we saw A Dangerous Method by David Cronenberg - a film about the relationship between Freud and Jung. Loved it.
We also stayed for the second film, Un Ete Brulant by Philippe Garrel. We enjoyed this too but had trouble with the English subtitles. Foreign films are subtitled in Italian and then a screen below the movie screen shows the English subtitles in a smaller text. As the seating in the PalaBiennale cinema is all on one level, it was difficult to read the subtitles between the heads in front of us. We managed okay for the French film (a relationship drama, which the French do so well) but have doubts about us being able to follow the Greek and Cantonese films on our agenda!
