Just before leaving, we visited the patisserie to pick up a treat for dessert tonight...deux gateaux...one a carrot cake, the other a chocolate bagel delight...

Back to Le Bon Marché
Today we went back to Le Bon Marché to do some shopping and revisit the gourmet delights of La Grande Epicerie. Best moment...I was sitting in a comfy leather chair while Brent did his suit and business shirt buying and I could hear a sound, like a paint scraper being used on a wall. I looked over to the shoe section, Les Créateurs, and there was a handsome, older man browsing the shoes, one hand free to peruse the shoes, in the other, a lead with a black pug accompanying him...that was the noise, the nasal snuffling of the pug! I was too discreet to snap a photo, but, oooh, I wanted to!
