Décret Pain

Today was the 22nd anniversary of the 1993 government decree protecting the ingredients and methods of baking bread referred to as "pain maison, pain de tradition française, pain traditional français, pain traditional de France"...and we celebrate the French pride in their bread with our love of the daily baguette - our favourites, la baguette tradition et à l'ancienne.  When we walked home tonight at 7pm with a baguette still warm from the oven...well, there's not much better than that!
