Rue du Cherche-Midi, Paris

This is our home for the next month in Paris...a gorgeous apartment in rue du Cherche-Midi in the 6th arrondissement.  Loosely translated, "cherche-midi" means "looking for midday".  Apparently, in the 17th century, "cherche-midi" referred to a person who visited friends just before noon, hoping to be asked for lunch...

No. 41 has that ooooh-so-French burgundy door, a tesselated tile entrance, and a lift (such a bonus when you're on the 4th floor!)

We have a window onto the street from the bedroom, and windows from the kitchen and living area onto the courtyard.  The apartment is light, bright and pretty cute!  I'm already loving it.

Looks amazing. Lucky you indeed!
A very well-deserved break, and clearly off to a lovely start in first class.

Just so you are aware, we have all chipped in to replace your desk chair with something more suitable, now that you've traveled with the "top end" of town ;^)

Have the best time both of you, will be waiting for your updates Sally.

Stay safe,

Daniel
