One floor closer to the action...

This morning we moved apartments.  We were unable to book the top floor apartment for the whole period of our visit to Ortigia, but the same owner rents out another apartment, one floor down, in the same building...so today we moved.  We will stay here until Saturday, when we head off to Palermo.

The apartment is gorgeous.  Bigger than upstairs, but the trade-off is the terrace.  We have just a small terrace now, but still the same beautiful view giving onto the ocean.

The day started with breakfast at Café 41.  Then there was some window shopping, a wander, the move of course, a wander, and then siesta time.  We booked our bus tickets to Palermo for Saturday and found a copy shop that would print them.

A ginger Mojito and a glass of prosecco for aperitivo, a paddle in the ocean, and an easy dinner of Ortigia's scrumptious fish and chips...bellissimo!
