Today started with breakfast at Casa Stagnitta - great coffee and pastry treats to send us on our way. We spent a few hours wandering the shopping streets of Via Maqueda, Via Ruggero Settimo and Viale della Libertà. Met a friendly young man in a shop called Modwear...he said he watched Australian MasterChef and thought Australia looked like a great place to visit...I can't say I've ever watched MasterChef, but I encouraged him to come and visit!
Post siesta, we spent some time hanging out at Quattro Canti and Piazza Pretoria, people watching round the fountain, wandering the backstreets to find artigiano stores, and then found ourselves a cute bar...Ai Giudici...for Campari spritz and Rossini. I love holidays!
