It's a heatwave! And, it seems, no relief until Monday night. Even the Parisiens are surprised that the high temperatures are lasting for a week. We're finding that an early start, a nice breakfast and a wander through the streets gets us home by about noon, which is when the temperature starts to climb. Perhaps we'll fit in a visit to a parc tomorrow, maybe a movie, or perhaps hang out in the air-conditioned cool of the Louvre! Options...just not as many as when the weather is cooler. Today we caught up on the washing...some things still need to get done in Paris!

Are those the stairs you climb every day? I hope the weather next week is much cooler for you, so much more pleasant for walking, and walking is the best way to get around in Paris.
