Revisiting some favourites

Café et tartine to start the day at le Nemrod.  Followed by a métro trip over to the 11th to visit Betino's Record Shop and Merci concept store, with a wander into the Marais for lunch.  We were hoping that the Musée Picasso would be open but, alas, the renovation that started in 2008 continues!  I was lucky enough to visit the Musée in 2007 and, in 2008, we missed it by a day or two when it closed for renovation.  I think that part of the reason Brent returns to Paris each year is that he is determined not to let the renovation beat him...it makes me laugh as he reads the works signage...the re-opening date is simply extended each year.  He looks at me with such an incredulous expression...I shrug the Parisien way and say, "C'est Paris!"
