We started the day with croissant and coffee, and then a walk through the Giardino Ibleo, the public gardens in Ragusa Ibla. Although the sun was in full force, there was a cool breeze and it was gorgeous in the park. From the park, there are sweeping views across the surrounding hills, and all shapes of marble and park benches where you can sit and enjoy the calm.
Next stop...granita di mandarino...no better way to cool down!
Spent siesta time working out some train connections, and doing some washing.
About 4pm, headed out for a walk to some heights behind the Duomo, up steps and following tiny alleys, rewarded by glorious views. On the return trip we were able to wander through the Palazzo la Rocca, which has story-telling carvings under its wrought iron balconies and views across the valley from every room.
Finally, closed out the day with an Amara spritz and some nibbles Sicily-style. Perfetto!

A very pleasant way to spend a quiet Sunday, and that granita di mandarino looks delicious.
